Are you male or female? I'd love to know where you work and what kind of church job you have, if you don't mind me asking. I'm ryanmurphy525@gmail.com if you want to move it off of Kim's blog...Ryan Murphyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12847484933202516382noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8345768339984984670.post-41179586078969548762008-07-07T16:05:00.000-04:002008-07-07T16:05:00.000-04:00As a catholic musician with 5 kids, I can tell you...As a catholic musician with 5 kids, I can tell you that, although a struggle at times, it is a rewarding and rich life. I don't know your story, or what you are discerning, but the Church needs both dedicated musicians and committed religious brothers and sisters.

It is an exciting time to be a Catholic musician (I have been one since 1981, full-time career since 1991). Although very frustrating at times, I wouldn't trade it for anything....Chironomohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13024533507945352862noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8345768339984984670.post-9180610109715625602008-06-25T10:38:00.000-04:002008-06-25T10:38:00.000-04:00Thanks Ryan. We are called to marriage in one way or another: to another person or to Christ himself while still on Earth.Kimberlyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13313811778881427221noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8345768339984984670.post-21515209940005455402008-06-24T00:38:00.000-04:002008-06-24T00:38:00.000-04:00One thing that really helped me in my discernment ...One thing that really helped me in my discernment process was the realization (from JP II's writings I believe) that the vocation of every man is fatherhood and that the vocation of every woman is motherhood. That called can be lived out in a variety of ways (but not the "single life", give me a break), but there it is. Of course, a solid spiritual director is a must.
--RyanRyan Murphyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12847484933202516382noreply@blogger.com
